knowledgeble about the local area as well the history,

There are very good facilities locally including pleasant
traditional
restaurants, shops and a hypermarket nearby in Montevarchi.

wonderful ice-cream parlour, reputed
to be the 'best in Italy' according to the New York Times
and The Observer.
